You may buy the Hero VIDA VX2 altogether or sign up for the brand’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) subscription, which starts at Rs. 0.96 per kilometer.

Hero MotoCorp’s Vida has launched the VX2 electric scooter in India in two versions: the VX2 Go and the VX2 Plus. As expected, these scooters appeal to a larger range of customers. You may buy them altogether or sign up for the brand’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) subscription, which starts at Rs. 0.96 per kilometer. The VX2 Go with BaaS costs Rs. 59,490 to start, and the VX2 Plus costs Rs. 64,990 to start (both prices are ex-showroom). People who want full ownership without a subscription will pay Rs. 99,490 for the VX2 Go and Rs. 1,09,990 for the Plus version.
The IDC-certified riding range for the Go is 92 km and for the Plus is 142 km. Three-way charging support makes it easy to use at home or on the go, and fast charging gets the battery to 80% in an hour.
The scooter’s design adds seven new color options while keeping the recognizable Vida silhouette. According to the manufacturer, a broad seat can easily fit two adults, and 12-inch wheels have been installed for a more planted ride on a variety of surfaces. Additionally, the VX2 Go has a 33.2-liter boot capacity when the battery is removed, which is reportedly sufficient for a full-face helmet.
Some of the best features are turn-by-turn navigation, remote immobilization, and real-time telemetry, which are all standard on all models. The VX2 Go, which is the most basic model, has a 4.3-inch LCD screen. The VX2 Plus, which is the more advanced model, has a 4.3-inch TFT touchscreen infotainment system. Both screens can sync with smartphones and get firmware updates over the air. The list of safety features includes an Emergency Stop Signal, a Fall Safe system, and alerts for theft and towing. Vida’s Alexa connectivity is still available, and AutoHold has been brought across from its bigger brothers. BaaS subscribers, on the other hand, can get free battery replacements if their health drops below 70% and can use Vida’s nationwide fast-charging grid, which has more than 3,600 charging points right now.
Hero’s network of more than 500 dealers and service providers supports after-sales and service, and Vida scooters sold in India are covered by a 5-year or 50,000-kilometer warranty. The brand has confirmed that the VX2 collection is now available throughout India, with client deliveries now in progress. Customers may also select between making their reservations in-store or online.
