This isn’t the first earthquake to happen in the area this year. A 4.0 magnitude earthquake struck the Delhi-NCR area on February 17 at a depth of 5 kilometers. The earthquake hit at 5:36 a.m. and was felt all around the capital and other areas.

The Delhi Disaster Management Authority says that Delhi is in Seismic Zone IV, which means that it is at high risk of damage from moderate to large earthquakes.
