The Apple iPhone 17 might have a bigger screen than the iPhone 16: Find out what costs will be in India, the UAE, and the US here.

Apple is getting ready to release its new iPhone 17 line of phones around the world soon. There will be four different models in the new series: the iPhone 17, the iPhone 17 Air, the iPhone 17 Pro, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The A19 chip, made using a better 3nm design, is expected to power the iPhone 17 series. The Pro and Pro Max versions will probably have the better A19 Pro chip for better performance. The normal iPhone 17 and 17 Air may use the regular A19 chip or keep the older A18 chip.

According to a recent leak from China, the upcoming iPhone 17 base model is expected to feature a slightly larger display than its predecessor. Popular tipster Digital Chat Station, known for accurate Apple leaks and followed by over 3 million users on Weibo, revealed that the standard iPhone 17 could come with a 6.3-inch screen. This would mark a noticeable upgrade from the 6.1-inch display on the iPhone 16 base model. While Apple hasn’t confirmed any details yet, this early rumor is already generating buzz among fans eager for the next iPhone release.

Bu also said that the iPhone 17 Pro might have a “vapour chamber” cooling technology to help keep it cool, although he wasn’t sure if this was true. It seems that the company is still working on the vapour chamber design and is having some technical problems.

Apple usually shows off its new iPhones around the second week of September, and they usually do it on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. The iPhone 16 came out on Monday, September 9, 2024; the iPhone 15 came out on Tuesday, September 5, 2023; the iPhone 14 came out on Wednesday, September 7, 2022; and the iPhone 13 came out on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

However, as the launch date approaches, the final pricing may be revised upwards because these figures are based on preliminary reports and have not been verified by Apple. Preliminary estimates indicate that the iPhone 17 will retail for about AED 3,799 in the United Arab Emirates and around $899 in the United States.
